SMS Opt-In

How customers opt in to transactional SMS at every Palms Studio storefront.

SMS on Palms Studio is strictly opt-in and transactional. The opt-in is captured at checkout, on a TCPA-compliant unchecked checkbox that the customer must tick affirmatively. There is no implicit consent, no marketing list, and no SMS without an active order.

What this confirms

The checkbox is unchecked by default. Consent is never assumed from silence.
The consent language identifies the brand (Palms Studio + the Tenant shop), the type of messages (transactional, order-status only), the message frequency (2–5 per order), the rate disclaimer (“Message & data rates may apply”), and the opt-out method (“Reply STOP”).
The HELP instruction (“Reply HELP for help”) is present.
The opt-in is per-order. There is no shared marketing list, no abandoned-cart SMS, no promotional SMS.
Phone numbers are collected only at this checkout point. We do not purchase, scrape, or import phone lists.
